Charlie will bring his wealth of experience to Aberdeen Cocktail Week, where he will focus on the operational side of the event. He'll be managing venue registrations, handling submissions, and contributing to the overall logistics to make sure everything runs smoothly across all participating bars and brands - ultimately ensuring a successful event for everyone involved.
Charlie’s background includes attending and exhibiting at large-scale drinks festivals across the UK and internationally. This experience has given him valuable insights into the drinks industry and event management. Being Aberdeen born and raised, Charlie knows the local area inside out, which we hope will help build strong relationships with bars and brands, while making sure the festival shines a spotlight on everything that makes Aberdeen special.
“I’m thrilled to have Charlie on board and formalize this partnership,” said Gregor Sey, founder of Cocktail Events UK. “His passion for Aberdeen, combined with the experience of working together we gained through Whisky Week, means we’re in a great position to keep growing both of these events. We really want to show people—locally and beyond—what our city and region has to offer!”
Beyond Aberdeen Cocktail Week, Charlie will also work on strengthening partnerships with local venues and brands while using his operational know-how to streamline the processes needed to take all our festivals to the next level. His involvement with both Whisky Week and Cocktail Week is a big step in helping to grow these festivals, all while showcasing the bartender, bars and brands of the area.
