Many thanks to our volunteers who came along to our clean up on Sunday the 24th of August. We had a great day, it was good fun, the weather was fantastic and we accomplished a lot.
So what did we get up to? From the moving and painting of the three new planters to clearing a mound of post storm debris (piles of broken branches, leaves etc), some litter picking and we removed a lot of weeds from between slabs in the Kirkyard too.
We are hopeful that we will have a further three large and six smaller planters delivered to the Kirkyard before our next clean up event on the 7th of September.
We had a solid number of volunteers turn up to lend a helping hand on Sunday but we are always looking for more. We are heading into the colder months of the year therefore we only have a few clean ups left in 2025.
